
Meet Our Founder
Sevetra Peoples-Brown is a public health consultant, entrepreneur, and advocate for health equity. After more than a decade of government service — including her role as Baltimore County’s Chief of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion — she transitioned in 2025 to serve full time as the Founder of TEA Health Awareness, a consulting firm dedicated to Teaching Every American the value of whole-person health.
Sevetra remains an active voice for equity, wellness, and purpose-driven leadership. Through TEA Health Awareness, Sevetra partners with mission-focused organizations such as Rodia, LLC to design and implement strategies that reduce disparities and strengthen communities. She also leads the S.M.A.R.T. Goals Initiative, a faith-based program that helps individuals create intentional, balanced lifestyles rooted in biblical principles and personal growth.
Sevetra holds a Master’s in Public Health from The George Washington University, an MBA from Strayer University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Hampton University.
